The club recently raised £3000
for assistance to victims of the tsunami. This money has been
transferred to a Rotary club in Madras who will use it to aid the
nearby coastal population

Meetings - these are weekly, lively, last typically just over 2 hours, starting
with a pleasant meal and, after some club business, are normally followed by a talk given by a member or a guest speaker / local
personality. Subjects covered recently include:-
Arctic exploration and the life of Huskies
A19 road widening, traffic schemes
History of the calendar
Kirklevington Detention Centre
Editing the local newspaper
Stained Glass-how it is done
Captain Cook-his 'holidays'!
